Sept.
2 , 2004
Anne Marie Milam. Anne Marie Milam, a fun-loving and
compassionate lady, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Thursday, September
2, 2004 in San Antonio after a valiant battle with the disease of Amyloidosis.
She was born on March 10, 1938 in Corning, N.Y. to Enie and Mary Ketchum.
The family moved to Texas when Anne was 12 years old. She graduated from
Longview High School and continued her education at Tyler School of Nursing.
She married Richard Allen Khoury of Longview and was blest with 3 children,
Ricky Khoury of Hallsville, TX, Debbie Khoury Jones of San Antonio and
Alvin Khoury of San Antonio. After becoming a widow, Anne was fortunate
to find love again with Robbie Milam. His family of Missie Milam McDaniel
of Smackover, AR and Amy Milam of San Antonio and her family quickly became
their family. Anne and Robbie lived the past 25 years in San Antonio,
surrounded by wonderful friends and family. She was extremely active in
her church, St. Francis of Assisi, assisting in various functions for
the church. Her parents and her husband, Robbie Milam, precede her in
death. Her 5 children and 8 grandchildren survive her. In addition to
her brothers, Paul Ketchum of Rowlett, TX and Greg Ketchum of Austin,
TX and their respective wives and children. Anne had a great outlook on
life combined with a strong opinion that she didn't hesitate to share.
She will be greatly missed by her loving family and her numerous friends.
Many thanks go to the staff at the Mariner Nursing Facility in San Antonio
for their care and comfort. Anne touched the hearts of all that worked
with her and for her. |

The Jack's show coming up on Saturday, March 13th is
going to be the release of a 7 song CD EP, Ripped Off From You,
containing tracks from the forthcoming CDs. We haven't decided yet if
we will be giving these away or selling them at a NOMINAL price. It seems
we have ran in to a few bumps once again in the recording process and
are not ready to release the full blown project yet. We're gonna hope
for the Crabby Jacks show or soon thereafter. |

update to the History section.
We have written part one. Part two to follow soon. |

Doug rejoin!
Good
news and bad news. Bad news first: Yes, due to his recent move to Austin,
Dave Crisci will no longer be able to continue playing lead in the band.
We wish him the best of luck in his musical career in Austin and thank
him profusely for his contribution to the band over the last few years,
as well as the forthcoming CD. We are more than positive that Dave will
be returning for some guest spots. Good news: Doug Nelson and Alvin Khoury
have returned to the fold. Alvin will be back on lead guitar and occasional
drums. Doug will be returning to bass. What about Charlie? He fulfills
his lifelong dream of playing rhythm guitar for the Psychos. Halleluia! |

material, No photos of members of the band. Email me with attached file
here at charulez@aol.com. |

July
5, 2003 2:06 PM -Where'd Everybody go?
I see there hasn't been a lot of activity on the website, probably because
we haven't been playing shows lately. To clear up a rumor, it's an exaggeration
that we have been kicked out of every single venue in town, but that's
not actually too far from the truth. For the first time in our over 10
years of being, we now have a chance to record all of our music at a slow
and calculated pace (making sure that this is the artistry that we want
to produce). We are still very proud of our first record the city that
always sleeps®, that we put out on a shoestring budget and under the
duress of trying to haul ass and RE-cord that mutha fucka. Our upcoming
product should be coming out soon. We're gonna be trying to put together
a CD release and show on Halloween night. I hope some of our old friends
and usual assortment of hecklers, drunks and weirdoes will come out and
join us when we decide to start making messes out of every stage in our
wake again. -Tim Tyrant |

Rumors!
Just a note to clear up a few rumors that have been going around. 1: The
Psychoholics have NOT broken up. 2: Tim Mrak is
not dead. 3: Tim and Charlie do not have a "violent
nature." 4: Alvin Khoury and Barbara
Johnson did not leave the band because of anyone's "violent nature."
Babs left because she didn't agree with the musical direction of the band
and it was a friendly separation. Alvin Khoury's departure was amicable
as well and he is working on a side project with Tim. 5: Vince
Pretter has NOT left the band. 6: As of this writing, the only female
"singer" that the Psychoholics have EVER had is Barbara Johnson. |

28, 2002 5:24 PM -YES,
We're Still Here. Are You?
I've notice in the wake of our canceled gigs the last few moths that interest
in the band and the web sight has slacked off considerably. Just thought
I'd write a quick note to let you know that we are still around. We've
been holed up in the jam room working on new songs and doing some home
recording, which we hope to have available in some form in the near future.
If you haven't been to the site in a while, we have added some new content
to the front page and merchandise sections that you might find amusing.
I know I did. Also would someone PLEASE write something in the guest-rant?
ANYTHING, FOR THE LOVE OF GOD! Hey and don't forget the Caption
Contest is still there. Not to worry we will be getting some new shows
very soon and will keep you posted. If anyone knows of some clubs we could
play or should be playing, please email me back and let me know. If you
are sleeping with the owner, even better. |

12, 2001 1:10 AM -Good
News and Bad News
Good news and bad news. First the bad news: Due to personal problems, Alvin Khoury has decided that it would be in the
best interest of the band if he were to leave. He will be missed, and
his contribution to this group will not be forgotten. We wish him the
best, and he just might show up in the future for the odd guest-spot.
Now, the good news: Vince Pretter, the ORIGINAL
drummer of this band has returned. Luckily, as a founding member of the
group, he actually remembers some of the inane songs he used to play with
us. Vince will debut with the band Dec. 7 at Carlsbad Tavern. |

10, 2001 6:19 PM -Thank You
Thanks to everyone for coming out to our show last night and making it
our most successful show yet. Thanks to Brian Kendall of 99.5 KISS for
plugging us and coming out to see us with Kelly. Big welcome to our newest
addition Barbara Johnson, who sang beautifully
and looked volcanically hot in red rubber. Thanks to James for doing lights
and Suzette for doing EVERYTHING ELSE. Last but not least, thanks to Carlsbad
Tavern for making it so much fun. It's good to be back. |

25, 2001 2:32 PM -Contest Winner Announced
Well it's official. Nastygal has won the Caption Contest. That's in the
GOOFY section, by the way. But who is she? She left no email address or
contact info. Nasty gal send your info to charulez@aol.com and we'll set up a time and date for wanton sex with the Psychoholic of
your choice, or all of them, if you are an attractive female. Otherwise
you get a damn CD. Also, we added a new contest. It's the original one
with Dick Cheney that we took down because no one entered; the last contest
was so successful, that I decided to put it back up for another chance.
Also, lots added to the Miscellaneous pics in the Pictures section. |

Content
By the way, yesterday I got rid of the Flash buttons on the menu that
a lot of people had trouble displaying. The site was down today for
an hour or two while I reorganized everything and added some graphics.
I also changed the main page, as you have seen and added the vomit background
to this page. I re did the links and made them look a lot cooler. Moved
the alumni section to the history section and renamed it "Former Members" and created thumbnails
and separate pages for everyone. Changed Tim's
baseball card to a better pic. |

Just added a bio to Charlie's pic page. There
will eventually be bios for all current and former band members. Also
put up the pics from St. Patrick's Smity's gig.
Also changed the pic contest in the Goofy Stuff section due
to lack of interest. It's still the same contest, but it's now a pic of
Shaq doing something stupid. Also I added new backgrounds to most of the
pages. Big whoop. |
