DOUG'S
BIO
Tim
and I have known Doug Nelson for many years. Although he was a year
or two older than us, I remember him pretty well from Clark High
School and the legendary parties he used to have at his parents
house when they would go out of town.
I played rhythm guitar and sang in Trap with Doug in 1985-86.
Doug was the consummate musician and always the most responsible
member of the band. Doug later had a brief stint in the Boages.
So, it's no wonder that when I left the band, that he was the first
person called to be my replacement. The great respect that I had
for Doug was heightened when he called to tell me that Tim had asked
him to join and wanted to make sure that it wouldn't cause any hard
feelings between he and myself. Not that he needed my permission,
but I appreciated it nonetheless.
Doug
left the band in 1998 with Artie
and Alvin. He has since rejoined
just in time to take part in the newest Psychoholics CD project.
This allows me to fulfill my lifelong dream of playing rhythm guitar
in the band.
Yay, Doug!
